Was there a reason other then pure stupidity that SF decided to take Tomko out after pitching 5 innings with pretty good success and having only a 66 pitch count?

Is that the strategy of managers to bring in worthless Bull pen pitchers to give up multiple homeruns and blow games?

Hehe, you sound like my little brother. He thinks any manager that pulls a pitcher that is on his fantasy team before 105 pitches is crazy. I tell him that other people have brains too. So, if he thinks the manager made a questionable move, chances are there was more to it than the box score might show.

Getting mlb tv for the summer, I have not had to confront him about issues similar to yours lately ;-D .

And if you don't want to spend money, just check http://www.rotoworld.com for an update before you go berserk.
