Don't reach for a batted ball with your pitching hand, Joe.

Appears to be a cut of some kind, to the ring finger. Doesn't appear particularly serious, he sure wasn't acting like it was a broken finger. I'll keep mine crossed.

romero has been quality of late. i thought he was the "closer of the future" for them.

BTW, why do teams give that designation. (I mean I know why ...) But it seems like so many things change anyway.

Teams don't really give that official title, it's just labeled so by the media.

Romero is a lefty so that is why I don't think he was ever given serious consideration for the job, they rather have him as a specialist. IMO
