The only Mexican I know (a guy I work with) is named Elmer. I'm starting to think it's a common Mexican name :-?

We call him poncho but his real name is Elmer. It means "The Sea" in french/spanish I think.

As for Beckham's kid, they named it after where it was conveived. I think thye have obne Paris abnd one Brooklyn. I could be wrong, but I know he said he anmes his kids/kid after where it/they were/was conceived. They should have named it "high and wide" :-b

They actually wanted to name him "Elmo", but couldn't spell it, so it came out "Elmer".....
