The worst part about that is the uncertainty. Craw has been unproductive enough to make me bench him a couple times a week lately. I can't drop him, of course, but there are guys who have been putting up better numbers. In a perverted sort of way, I think I'd rather have him go down for the season than spend a lot of time day-to-day.

I was imagining a coin toss before the battle and Custer lost the toss, the rest, they say, is history. Gotta think outside the box, man.

His stats at home are much better than on the road. Tonight he's not starting AT HOME... now,, THATS a cause for concern

Carl Crawford is out tonight with a sore shoulder. He's scheduled for an MRI tomorrow.
Manager Lou Piniella said Crawford would be out for a few days. Since Joey Gathright is still at Durham, the Rays have Damian Rolls playing center field tonight.
