What about Chase Utley? Don't know how much of a "sleeper" he is, but he was unowned in both of my keeper leagues. I picked him up at the trade deadline to hold for next season when he takes over for Polanco. His numbers look pretty good for this year when he has played - 12 HRs in 222 ABs.

I always liked Phillips, but the way Belliard is playing Phillips doesn't have a chance.

I really think Aaron Miles can do big things, once wilson comes back from injury Miles' numbers should get a little boost as well.

Sean Tracey has my apologies, we all know Ozzie Guillen is an idiot. I'm rooting for you!

I like Scott Hairston also. Serious power potential for a 2B. I think he also has 12 HR's in limited time.

I would say Utley. He's a virtual lock to be a full timer next year, and will be in a notorious hitter's park.

Like Hairston even more in terms of pure talent, but with the likely surrounding talent and the locale, I go with Utley.

Callaspo is well regarded by the Halos, but I doubt he'll be of any real value till 2007, assuming he arrives sometime in '06.

Isn't Philadelphia toying with the idea of converting Utley to the OF?

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
