He'll continue to platoon with Thomas. Don't get him, you'll never
figure Cox out.

Play him against left handed starters, he hits .435 against them with a 1.184 OPS

yeah. if you can afford the bench spot, playing him against lefties would not be a bad idea at all. thomas/marrero has worked wonders for the braves out in right. just like franco/franco did last year at first. got to hand it to bobby, he knows how to put together a useful platoon.

Actually it's left
But yeah, if you can afford a bench spot, start him against lefties and you'll be happy as you see your BA rise!

What are you talking about? This is as easy to figure out as anything can possibly be. Thomas starts vs. righties, Marrero vs. lefties. And if you have the flexibility to do your own platooning, Marrero is a pretty decent option in a deeper league. He's been a nice plus for me for the last two months.
And BTW, this season proves once and for all what a great skipper Cox is. Anyone who doesn't think so has a blind spot.

Sometimes my responses are "research impaired"- if I had bothered
to check, I would have figured out the platoon. Moral of the story
(1) don't accept anyones post as gospel, do your own homework
(2) memo to self, don't make posts without doing homework
Sorry for the stupid post.
