He has been absolutely horrible lately. Is it time to cut bait on him? Affeldt's available but he doesn't seem to get many save opportunities. I'm in a tight race for 1st place and saves is a very close category right now.
It pains me to watch him pitch right now thats for sure...last night he threw nothing but fastballs to Jeter, Shefield and A-Rod...what was he thinking!!!!!! After surrendering 3 runs he started throwing both fastballs AND offspeed, and got out of the inning...
DON'T BE AFRAID TO THROW THE THE JUNK - MEAT!!!!!!!
Dropped him for Putz last night. I was going to drop him even if there were no RP's I wanted. I'm not sure he's ever gotten a side out 1,2,3 and I just can't watch anymore.
Frasor was damn good in the 1st half of the season...definately a sleeper
I dropped him thought about a month and a half ago when I looked at the Blue Jays schedule...I wouldn't have felt comfortable putting him in any game with a save opp against these teams (specifically the Yanks)
I think Putz has a little more value then Affeldt...both teams are terrible and the save opps will be rare, but I think Putz will get more and put up better ERA/WHIP/K numbers as well. Also doesnt hurt playing in pitcher friendly SafeCo
I dropped Frasor a little too early, and regretted it for a while. Luckily, he is starting to prove my theory correct...though I do wish I had the extra saves he would have gotten me.

Believe me, it wouldn't be worth the extra ERA he's been picking up. Besides, Toronto's got a pretty rough ride for the rest of the season. Outside of Seattle they face hitting ballclubs (Yanks, Rangers, A's, O's).
