UNBELIEVEABLE. I remember about 7 years ago there was a documentary in HBO on how hard it was to get a greenlight on a movie. This 2 writers were talking about there film 3000. Same premise, a guy comesback to get the 3 hits he needs to get to 3000. But the guys were describing the stoy as a drama of a man facing the end of his career, about the love of americans for baseball and about faith and the triumph of will. 8 years laters its a Bernie Mac film. Im sure none of the original idea has changed
