What Do You Do In The Winter?

This is my first baseball season on the site. I love it. I come here as often as I can. I don't know much about the site, though. How long has it been running? Who started it and pays for it?

But, most importantly, what do you guys do in the winter besides muse over the occasional surgery/trade/retirement news?

There is no real off-season here at the cafe. We keep busy by doing Mock-drafts which can sometimes take a month to do. There will be plenty of mock drafts to take place in, I think last year we had about 18! If you look at the foums main topic page, we got our most hits (at one time) the week of or before Opening Day.

I'll try to find the topic that tells about the 'History of the Cafe'.

So this menyak... thing. Is that actually his name, or is it something more cryptic - like an anagram for "key man"? That would be all Matrix and stuff if it was.

On a side note, I guess Europe is becoming a bigger part of my life. I got hired on as an accountant for a huge Dutch medical publishing company, and now I hang out at an Austrian-based website. I also won some marzipan, which I'd never tried, in a little company trivia game. What's next for me? I hope it's a surprise envelope full of Euros. I hope it's not a plate full of spotted dick.
