Ugh. I'm trying to set up my wireless receiver thing so I can play Madden online with my PS2. The model is a Linksys Wireless-B Game Adapter (Model No. WGA11B). I have it plugged in and everything, but when I go to setup, it says that the Wireless-B Game Adapter couldn't be found on the network. The rest of my wireless network consists of Netgear manufactured parts, but I don't think that should matter at all...any advice? In case it's important, the router I'm using is a Netgear MR814. I don't think it's a matter of signal strength either, since my PS2 is in the room next to the router. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
your in luck, i just installed that exact adaptor so I could play madden 2005 on my ps2. You need a wireless router for that adapter to work, but you said you have it so that is no problem. You need to have the PS2 adapter as well as the Linksys Game Adapter.
If you do have the PS2 adapter already and it still didn't work, you might have forgotten to put in the CD for the Game Adapter. You need to follow the directions on the CD for your Linksys Game Adapter to work.
*Dont worry about what kind of router you have, it doesn't matter as long as its wireless.
Did you ever set it? If you didn't the username is admin and the password is password or 1234.
Otherwise you'll have to reset the router to factory defaults and lose all your info.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
