21 games ahead, How good is my team really???????

Postby BigBlue » Mon Aug 23, 2004 11:24 pm

As the title reads I'm currently ahead of my league by 21 games. I need to know if I need to improve anywhere before the playoffs come! It's a Yahoo Public H2H league. Here's my team:

C: C. Wilson
1B: A. Huff
2B: J. Kent
3B: A. Rodriguez
SS: M. Tejada
OF: J. Drew
OF: V. Wells
OF: M. Cabrera
Util: C. Crawford
BN: A. Jones

SP: J. Santana
SP: C. Zambrano
RP: D. Kolb
RP: C. Cordero
P: S. Chacon
P: J. Peavy
P: M. Clement
B: Ol. Perez
B: J. Westbrook
B: J. Vazquez
B: J. Beckett

My record going into this week is 133-59-8. I'd love to improve on this record. Any help is great!

I would surely consider dumping Chacon, he may get a lot of saves but it isn't worth it for what he does to your ERA and WHIP.

Some of the people available on the WW are:

Frasor
Affeldt
Wickman
Hermanson
W. Alvarez
Moyer
A. Sanchez
Erstad
S. Stewart

Anyone look appealing?

I would probably drop Chacon for Frasor.

I'd drop Chacon for Frasor or S Stewart.

Package a SP(Peavy, Vazquez, Beckett, Westbrook) and/or Chacon and Wilson while he's hot and get Javy.

Help me out?
