Victor Martinez (C-Cle) - He's not playing great right now, but it's only a matter of time. He will probably be up sometime in the second half.
Chad Tracy (3B-Ari) - Could be a very solid hitter. Currently blocked by Matt Williams and Craig Counsell. Could be up at any time, because Williams or/and Counsell will get hurt.
Joe Borchard (OF-CHW) - They really want him to cut down on his strikeouts, but he may be doing that at the big league level. Should be up in the second half, Aaron Rowand is just keeping his spot warm. Although both Carlos Lee and Armando Rios has been playing well, so they may be very patient with Borchard or make a trade to clear room.
Aaron Heilman (P-NYM) - He could be a very solid pitcher, but maybe not this year. He will probably be up in the second half.
Rob Hammock (C-AZ) - He played almost daily the last couple of months of the season. The D-Backs used him at corner and in the OF to keep his bat in the order. Could be an excellent pick next spring. Though not a late call up,
Matt LeCroy is another player who had enough appearances at catcher to be eligible at that position in most formats (21). His hitting skills are excellent and he has multi-position eligibility as well, 1B, DH. The Twins want his bat in there.
Doug Waechter (P-TB) Came up in August and finished 3-2 with an ERA in the low 3.00's. He had 29 K's in 35 IP.
Edwin Jackson (P-LA) Came up in Sept and pitched 7 inn of SO ball against the D-backs in his first appearance. Throws up to 98 MPH! Too bad the Dodgers don't get any runs or he could be fantastic!
There are lots of others, but I'll stop here to see if there are any comments about these or any someone else wants to add.
