Hi, I'm in a 10 team head to head private yahoo league with 22 stat categories, of which 10 are offensive, 9 pitching, and 3 defensive. I have dominated my league so far with a 258-119-41 record and am up 42 games over the second place team. The thing that worries me is that if my offense has a bad week, I am not so sure my pitching can "hold the fort" during the playoffs.
My Team:
C M. Barrett (ChC - C) (FA)
1B A. Pujols (StL - 1B,LF) (Traded for)
2B M. Giles (Atl - 2B) (Traded for)
3B M. Teixeira (Tex - 1B,3B) (FA after a month and a half)
SS M. Tejada (Bal - SS) (Drafted)
LF B. Bonds (SF - LF) (Drafted)
CF J. Edmonds (StL - CF) (Traded for during his slump)
RF B. Abreu (Phi - RF) (Traded for)
Util L. Walker (StL - RF) (FA)
BN J. Estrada (Atl - C) (FA)
BN C. Delgado (Tor - 1B) (Waivers)
BN B. Giles (SD - LF,CF,RF) (Traded for)
BN P. Nevin (SD - 1B,RF) (FA during injury)
DL M. PiazzaDL (NYM - C,1B) (Drafted)
SP C. Schilling (Bos - SP) (Traded for)
SP C. Pavano (Fla - SP) (FA)
SP J. Beckett (Fla - SP) (Drafted)
SP K. Brown (NYY - SP) (Drafted)
SP O. Pérez (Pit - SP) (FA)
RP J. Nathan (Min - RP) (FA before season started)
RP B. Lidge (Hou - RP) (FA as soon as Dotel was traded)
Pavano and Perez have been very consistent lately, but it has been up and down with the other three starters. Are there any moves I should try to make to increase my chance of winning the championship? I appreciate any ideas.
