I'm in first, but is my pitching strong enough?

Hi, I'm in a 10 team head to head private yahoo league with 22 stat categories, of which 10 are offensive, 9 pitching, and 3 defensive. I have dominated my league so far with a 258-119-41 record and am up 42 games over the second place team. The thing that worries me is that if my offense has a bad week, I am not so sure my pitching can "hold the fort" during the playoffs.

Pavano and Perez have been very consistent lately, but it has been up and down with the other three starters. Are there any moves I should try to make to increase my chance of winning the championship? I appreciate any ideas.

Your offense is outstanding, your pitching will be good enough with that awesome hitting. Schilling,Ollie,Beckett and Brown are a very nice top 4, not to mention Pavano. If Beckett and Brown are healthy your pitching should be strong.

Trade some of your hitting for some pitching, because you got an extraordinary depth there. Also I think Estrada should be starting for you at catcher until Piazza returns. So drop Barrett and find some pitching despite having Brown and Schilling, you could you get more backup for these aging stars. (i just mean that you never know at the end of the year with older guys; workload)

Thanks for the responses. I will ask around for pitching and see what I can get, and get a backup pitcher as well. Sorry I was late at saying thanks, I was out of town for a couple of days but I do appreciate the help.

get a different 2B. Vidro, Boone, Soriano if possible. Even Kent. or pick up Belliard. do something.
