Tests revealed that Robb Quinlan had a torn oblique. He could miss the rest of the season

This really frustrates me. A few days ago when I heard Reyes may miss the rest of the season, I dropped him for Quinlan, whom I thought would be a nice fill-in at 3B since I have Ramirez who is battling a groin injury. Now Quinlan has an injury, swinging at batting practice I heard. :-t

This is such a shame because Quinlan was showing he had the talent to be a good young ballplayer that would help the Angels in the future. Don't forget him though because we could be talking about him for good reasons again in 2005.
