And because not all of them could possibly fit on the 25 man roster, some of them will have to go to AAA, finally putting to rest those nasty rumors that the Yankees farm system is depleted.

Doh, I completely forgot about that. It was a 4 year deal but I can't remember for how much, $30 million sounds about right. There are no big name 2B that will be available this offseason as free agents. Nomah might not be such a big stretch after all....
I might be wrong but I am pretty sure both Jeff Kent and Bret Boone will be free agents.

I would love to see both of them signed to $10M/yr contracts.

Then have Kent drive his motorcyle to the Yankee stadium parking lot where he could have a pick up basketball game with the Boone brothers.

dang looking at street walkers makes u think of the yanks 8-o
if i had to guess on the yanks offseason pickups i would say centerfield(beltran maybe) and another starting pitcher(they might use a 7 man rotation next year) ;-D
