I don't think Alou is going to be a FA. Don't the Cubs have an option for him next year?

The cubs won't pick up his option, too expensive. The only way he's back on the Cubs is if he takes a pay cut.

I think there's a good chance that the Yankess sign each and every one of these players this offseason.

Vidro's not a FA. He just signed a 6-year, $30 million (?) deal with Montreal...

Of course, that doesn't mean the Yankees won't acquire him.

Doh, I completely forgot about that. It was a 4 year deal but I can't remember for how much, $30 million sounds about right. There are no big name 2B that will be available this offseason as free agents. Nomah might not be such a big stretch after all....

I might be wrong but I am pretty sure both Jeff Kent and Bret Boone will be free agents.

dang looking at street walkers makes u think of the yanks
if i had to guess on the yanks offseason pickups i would say centerfield(beltran maybe) and another starting pitcher(they might use a 7 man rotation next year)
