I think it is just that they want to see what Closser can do on an everyday basis. They know what they are gonna get from CJ. Closser is the future so why not give him some experience right now?
Fair comment, but if that were true why not bring Closser up earlier in the year before Greene was injured.
I'm thinking there is way more to it than that. CJ is playing silly buggers with this no trade clause business and obviously management aren't happy with him over it.

I don't know what "silly buggers" means, but I do know that the Rockies front office was hoping to deal Johnson. So you are right, management isn't happy with the way he handled their efforts to plan for the future. And, that is all there is to your conundrum.

Actually I think the proper term is "aren't". Usually it's only Brits/Kiwis that say it like that, but Management is more than one person. It's like saying "they is". It's wrong....... but North Americans are used to hearing it so it sounds right. Damn Kiwi's and their proper talking
"Jack, will you call me, if you're able?"
"I've got your phone number written, in the back of my Bible."

...could be. I am most familiar seeing management with an article infront of it, so I am not all that familiar with it being used that way (in plural). Hehe, I have been out of school all summer too, so I am probably a ways from being sharp . Sorry for the bold NZF .
