had to do it..too many red hot 3Bs out there on my waviers like newhan, batista, quinlan...lowell hasn't done anything in like 2 months..so i said bye bye..

He's sitting on my bench, I haven't brough myself to drop him and I don't expect to have to drop him. I wasn't a believer in his 2nd half slumps as I thought it had to do with injuries, I am now becoming a believer.

You can't drop the studs like Lowell, even though he's a 1st half player.

I wouldn't have dropped Lowell, and would have just benched him. But this is a guy who clearly is one you want to own early and then trade by the All Star break.

I think dropping him was a little drastic....benching would have done fine. But.....it's your team, not mine....
