Both are in great form and it's not inconceivable you could steal a few saves from one or both later. Linebrink won't ever close for SD, but who can argue with his 3 or 4 rock solid IP virtually every week. Ditto for Otsuka. There are a handful of others in the MR class that can help a bit as well.

I was thinking that. Gonzalez is a FA (I dropped him to take Benitez off of the DL, as well as Howry. The others are taken. I am just worried that I might drop the extra closers too soon and help my competition. I wish that I had some more consistent OF so I wouldn't need to carry so many. :-/

Don't mean to hijack this thread, but could someone tell me a little more about Mike Gonzalez. He has stellar numbers setting up in Pitts, and could be valuable to get me some holds. I'd like to know more, thanks.

Lonfunzo, I think that you will be fine even if you do drop them. Both play for perpetual losers, so if you could benefit more from someone who is available on the wire, go for it. If you are worried, drop Cordero, and hold onto Frasor until you feel there is no chance of being caught.

If Tom Gordon is available on the WW, would you take him over any of the guys mentioned in this thread?

I need to improve my ERA and these guys are available: Gordon, Rincon, Howry, Otsuka, Mota, Ryan, Ayala

thanks

i would probably bench both of them til maybe the first of september...then u can reevaluate the standings....as u could possibly drop one of them for sure in september and possibly pick up another need(a extra starter, steals).....
