2 words -- Adrian Beltre. picked him up after he hit his 7th homer. also, i drafted joe nathan with the absolue last pick in our 25 round draft.
It's like I've died and gone to heaven......but then they realized that it wasn't my time, so they sent me to a brewery.

I'm surprised at some of the names I've seen on these postings. Mine have been, Huff (after his horrible start), Carpenter, Loretta and Oliver Perez. Unfortunately, I missed out on Texiera and Hafner, both mistakes on my part as they were there and I did get to them fast enough. Also, Takasu falls into that catergory of missed opportunities.

I picked up Belliard when he was hot and dropped him for Jack Wilson who was hotter. Like a dummy, I dropped Wilson to get Bobby Crosby who will be kept in our keeper league.

I nabbed Newhan a day or two before his inside-the-park HR and have held him throughout. I keep waiting for him to fall back to earth, but he keeps producing. When will it end?

I got Wickman when they announced he was going to be the Tribe's closer and have benefitted from all his saves to date.[/b]

Was this in the league that costs a trillion dollars to join? :-b

You must be happy, being a trillionaire+ right now. Hey can I have 5 bucks?

vmart and carpenter are my only FAs that have stuck with my team. well, outside of my closers. takatsu and cordero were lookin mighty fine until last week (i think they've given up like 10 ER combined in the past 7 days! :-[ )

oh, and krod was a nice add. he's given me something like 11 saves, TONS of k/ip and good whip/era numbers.

i've added el duque, too, but since i've only got one start out of him thus far, he doesn't really count. ;-)
