Francis has been absolutely amazing in the minors - 7.5 K/BB ratio (!!!), 0.86 WHIP, 11.5 K/9. Wow. too bad he plays for Colorado, and too bad he isn't joining Team Canada for the Olympics :-[

Francis had another fantastic outing last night. He is due to come up on the 25th right? (of this month) Also, the Sky Sox play at a higher altitude than the Rockies so hopefully he handles the transition extremely well...

ok, you think that TB wont call up kazmir? upton is at the majors at 19...they'll give kazmir a simple sept callup

on francis, yeah he's been lights out and yeah he pitches for colorado, but that doesnt mean he's going to be a horrible pitcher. the guy has the mentality to adjust his pitching to keep the ball in the park. he also has the ability to strike ppl out so sometimes the ball wont even connect with the bat. i think he'll be a good starter in the majors. he could be the front runner for ROY in 05...yes, a COL pitcher
