From fanball.com
Aug 14 Phillies' closer Billy Wagner will test his injured shoulder by playing catch this weekend. Wagner has been out since July 22 with a strained left rotator cuff. He attempted to throw a few weeks ago, but had to shut it down and has not thrown since.
Views: The Phillies still don't have a specific timetable for Wagner's return, but if he passes the "throwing test" this weekend they might be able to map out a more specific rehab plan for him.
I would think that Worrell will be the man for this week. Then if Wagner is ready to go, he'll take over immediately. If you're in a weekly league, I would start Worrell.

Any new news?
.......Can you use the term "new news" or by definition is the word news always new?
I guess that's what carrying wagner with no updates will do to a guy.
