Jesus this thread backfired on me. As soon as it went up Chipper really pumped it up. And of course Aramis can't stay on the field. But Ill put up a question for next year. In a keeper, Chipper or Aramis?

Good question, Id take either one... Chipper the safe choice (knowing hes going to put up 25+ HRs, .300 avg 110 runs and 100 RBIs) or Aramis who could reach 40 HR 115 RBI and .300 avg or may put out a mediocre year like 2002 and 2003

LOL. What's the next question?? In a Chicago only league, which would you rather have?? Chipper or Aramis??
J/K I am still laughing when the Cubs fan accuses someone else of using a bias when comparing a Cubs player with another.
with ramirez in a keeper league, there are two things:
1. he's a stude and this was his breakout year. he'll be a top-5 3b for the next 7 years
2. this was a career year. he'll never again match these numbers, and 2005 will look sickeningly like 2003.
me, i'd probably value aramis too low to get him in a keeper league. i'd take him after blalock, huff, beltre, arod, mora, rolen, and cabrera, and probably aroud the same time as larry and wright. as for which one of those three i would take, it would depend entirely on the makeup of my team to that point. do i desperatly need to get younger? go with wright. do i need consistency? go with chipper. ramirez is something in between.
hell, i'd probably take lowell in front of him, too...
