Frustrating sleepers

Postby bleach168 » Wed Aug 11, 2004 10:13 pm

What's more frustrating than drafting a great sleeper year after year only to see them bust. Then, the first year you don't get them because you tried to get them cheap, they go on a tear on your rival's team.

Screw you Beltre and Dunn. I believed in you guys for the last 3 years and you wait until NOW to perform? :-t

This is the exact reason I started a dynasty-style keeper league. I found myself being a big fan of players like Adam Dunn and Mark Prior (progressing through the minors) the year or years before they became SI cover calibur names. My fantasy attention went toward future fantasy studs, not this year's out of nowhere stars. I have had to work hardest in my redraft leagues!

Try throwing together a dynasty-style keeper league if you get tired of being burnt by your players the year after you owned them ;-D .

I would love to play in a good dynasty league. I will definately try one next year.

Anyways, it feels good to be back and ranting about fantasy baseball again. Dunno what happened to ZiG, maybe he's still lurking here under a different name? ;-)
