16 team 8x8 head to head league keeping 3 players. Here are the trades I have made this year:

I get Renterria for V Wells & A Berroa (was very disappointed in Berroa and wanted the extra roster spot for D Davis, although maybe I could have gotten more)

I get V Martinez for Millar

I get D Ortiz for Clemens

I get J Frasor for Sexson (picked up with #2 WW priority as keeper trade bait)

And my latest trade is with the same as the Sexson trade who is looking to next year. I get J Lopez, Kent & Hawkins for my VMart (his new keeper) and Mackowiak. I am dropping Armas. Here is my new team:

I am not familiar with the depth involved in 16 team leagues, but this team looks like a slightly below average 12 team league team, so it must be pretty damn good for a 16 team league. Those trades were great. Good job. If we could see the top couple of teams, it would help make a judgement for your team for the playoffs.

Your v Wells trade was ok because a good SS is hard to find..although Wells is heating up.

I loved all the trades until you traded away VMart... I think he's a very valuable keeper at a thin position offensively, more so than Javy. Kent was an ok "get" for this year I guess, but I personally would have clung to VMart as a keeper. He's gonna be a monster at the catcher position in the years to come.

IMO VMart is just too young to keep over some of my other guys. We only keep 3 players. As great as VMart has been, hes only done it once. And I think I got 3 good players for him. Vlad and Oswalts are almost locks as keepers and I have Ortiz, Renterria and Rivera battling for the last spot. And I also dont think Sexson would have made the list, which is why I picked him up off ww for trade bait. Got me a legit closer at least.

I like your team and your trades also, especially for a 16-team league. Good trades. I might be a little nervous about my SP if I were you, but the potential is there. The guy with Wood, Peavy and Zito could be tough to beat if they all pitch to their potential.
