Batting him leadoff sure as hell isn't working. Why not try this? He's obviously a talented kid, so his struggles are purely mental. Moving him to the 8th spot takes the pressure of batting leadoff and allows him to swing more liberally without the added pressures of setting the table for his team. The psychology of a hitter is a strange thing, and you never know what's going to serve as a catalyst for a red-hot streak. Hopefully this is it for S-Pods.

I have a question. Does anyone know of his number of bunts he has attempted this season as compared to last season? It may have inflated his ba to the point where he looked like a decent hitter. I've watched him just a couple of times this year and it would make sense for him to bunt some but it looks as if he doesn't do it. Can anyone answer that?
