where did you get that?
I can't find it anywhere ..
I know Kent has a no trade clause, limiting where he can go, but I can't find anything about him "clearing" waivers. Certainly New York and Boston need a 2B

He must have been referring to his league. I know the Mets haven't place Glavine on waivers and if Houston had placed Kent on waivers I think we'd have already heard about it.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
yea i checked mlb.com. they werent put on waivers lol. anyways, yanks need a 2B and a LOT of teams need pitching, they wouldve never cleared waivers.
Manny Ramirez....$20 million
Pedro Martinez....$17.5 million
Curt Schilling...$12 million (and a $2 million bonus)
Never hearing a Yankee fan chant 1918 again...priceless.
actually about this time every year, about 50% of all baseball players get passed through waivers, or are at least attemted, and there is rarely any mention of it by the press ..

I doubt it. In what type of league would Kent clear waivers?
Anyway, as to Glavine, the injuries stink. Warm wishes for a speedy recovery.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
Maybe he has a mean snarl now that will intimidate hitters.
