where did you get that?
I can't find it anywhere ..
:-?

I know Kent has a no trade clause, limiting where he can go, but I can't find anything about him "clearing" waivers. Certainly New York and Boston need a 2B

He must have been referring to his league. I know the Mets haven't place Glavine on waivers and if Houston had placed Kent on waivers I think we'd have already heard about it.

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

actually about this time every year, about 50% of all baseball players get passed through waivers, or are at least attemted, and there is rarely any mention of it by the press ..

Glavine lost a couple of teeth, according to ESPN.com. I'm sorry, Glavy. I hate to think of people losing anything permanent from their bodies. :,-(

I doubt it. In what type of league would Kent clear waivers?

Anyway, as to Glavine, the injuries stink. Warm wishes for a speedy recovery. ;-D

Maybe he has a mean snarl now that will intimidate hitters. :-D
