I have Vidro as a backup 2nd baseman to spell Nomar and M Young. I realised that Lugo will have SS/2B eligibility in 12 games provided he continues to play second.
I don't care what he does with his wife.......... Lugo has been en fuego this year. If both players had 2B eligibility, I'd take Lugo in a heartbeat. Near the top of that TB lineup he's doing some damage.
"Jack, will you call me, if you're able?"
"I've got your phone number written, in the back of my Bible."
That is a close one....but now that Vidro has lost any help he had...(Cabrera, if you want to call it help)...I would have to go with Lugo...he has been solid most of the year...

(Unless you happen to be hard up for steals)
Lugo has 13 more R, 7 more RBI, 12 more SB's, a similar BA, and 5 less HR's.
I think it's obvious that 12 SB's, 13 R, 7 RBI are more valuable than 5 HR's, so how in the world can you say it's not even close and Vidro is better Not saying Vidro can't be better, but what the hell was your reasoning? Just cuz Lugo has way more SB's it means you only take Lugo if you want SB's? So if somebody takes A-Rod over Lowell, they only want A-Rod because they're hard-up for steals? Using your logic, I guess so.
If this is a landslide, it's in favour of Lugo, who is also now at the top of the batting order where he is tearing it up.

On fire? Lugo's batted .244 since the All-Star break. However, because of his soon-to-be positional flexibility and Vidro's propensity to get hurt, I'll go with Lugo.
