Ollie has definitely turned some heads (including mine) this season with his breakout season. I can see the comparisons to Santana: young pitcher, strikeout monster, unproven, and tonnes of potential.
Unfortunately, playing in Pittsburgh with their never-ending re-building process doesn't help. His win totals will be medicore for as long as he stays in Pittsburgh. I think he will garner lots of strikeouts for years to come. Whether his ERA and WHIP improve will depend on his maturity as a pitcher.
With all that said, I have him in a keeper league and am keeping with over Matt Clement, if that helps you at all. I think his numbers will make him a high pick in next year's draft (rounds 3-5, give or take a little).

I'm going to have issues deciding who to keep for next year since Ollie has done so well this year. It will certainly take some thinking (or really good trade bait. We'll see ).
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

Keep that Canadian lingo goin
I always make sure to spell it "colour" and "favourite"
And as for Perez.......... he seems like a sure-fire keeper to me, unless you're in a league that keeps very few players. It would kill me to let him go free and then see him become one of the best next season. Happened to me with Santana after 2002
"Jack, will you call me, if you're able?"
"I've got your phone number written, in the back of my Bible."
I've only seen him pitch once vs the Braves. What impressed me the most was when he gave up a HR and proceeded to get the
next 2 outs. He looks very confident and in control on the mound.
Speaking of trade bait, I have him, Santana and Peavy and may
land Prior in a trade. Talk about some pre-draft trade bait next
year..
He's a definitie stud on the rise. If I had him in a keeper I wouldn't dream of tossing him back. His K/BB is better than 3 to 1, and his whip is 1.13, those are strong signs that he has figured it out. I can't believe that the other day I saw the fellas on baseball tonight debating whether Cliff Lee of Perez has the brighter future. It's not even close.
He has looked good and Ihave been trying to get him all year, but watch the sudden increase in his walks. That is why he hasn't been so good in the past, and it looks like he could be getting tired an therefore throwing allowing more walks.
