Barry Bonds is projected to pass Babe Ruth on the All-Time Home Run list next April. So, I wanted to impose this question. If both players were free agents in their prime next season, who would you prefer? Bonds or Ruth?

The Babe.............. but it's too hard to compare players of different generations. This should be a poll, too........ you should know that, since you're a Mod and all
"Jack, will you call me, if you're able?"
"I've got your phone number written, in the back of my Bible."
Uh-oh B4P, I'm gonna tell the guys over there you posted here
I'd take the Babe in a second
I really wish that somehow we could see how good Mickey Mantle would have been had his career not been so injury-ridden. I truly think he could have been the greatest player ever.

He was before my time- before I was born, but that damn drain in the OF. I can remember watching documentaries on him saying he was one of the fastest players in the game early in his career

Me too, waaaaaay before my time. But like you, I've watched a lot of shows and stuff about him and read about him a lot.
