I was about to accept a trade for Penny this morning.

no way he could've seen this coming, but i doubt that will stop the already-irate LA faithful from calling for his head.

DePo made the right move. I'll take PdP over Dan Evans and Kevin Malone any day of the week. It was a good trade for both sides. The Dodgers instantly become a playoff force (which they weren't before this trade), and all we had to give up was an overrated catcher and an expendable set-up man? I'll take it.



Now, let's hope and pray that Penny's injury is nothing serious...
