Aug. 8 The Dodgers demoted Kazu Ishii to the bullpen in favor of Wilson Alvarez (P) LA on Saturday. Alvarez, who has a 3.30 ERA over 87.1 IP this year, will start on Thursday.

i picked him up after seeing that, good news....he is a pretty reliable starter.

this is great news. alvarez has been picthing really well and deserves to be in the rotation. he's prolly available in a lot of leagues and should be picked up if you are looking for a starter.
