Wiggington projections for next year

Postby stumpak » Thu Aug 05, 2004 12:47 pm

Now that he is on Pitt (going to a hitters park from a pitcher's park), what are reasonable stat projections for next year? Is something like .285/20 a good baseline assumption, or is this even too low?

I am not sure that regular playing time is going to be a given for Ty Wigginton next season. Other than in NL-only keeper leagues, Wigginton should not be drawing much fantasy attention at the moment.

Don't be fooled into thinking that Pittsburgh play in a hitters park. You will find it's actually one of the hardest on hitters.

As Savage said, Wiggington is not guaranteed a starting position so this .267 career hitter should not even be considered in fantasy circles unless playing NL only leagues.
