I am a hardcore Madden fanatic. I figured I'd give it a shot for $20. I hate it.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

Anybody know if they're having this promo in Canada? I've got the first two in the series and I love the playability. $20 would be sweet. (insert currency exchange rate joke here)

They have them at EBGames.com for $20 which is where I ordered mine.

the scam was that ESPN decided to realease ESPN football earlier than Madden and make it a lot cheaper so that they would convert Madden people over to ESPN, they just wanted to beat Madden.
My understanding from the gamefaqs boards and reader reviews, is that the game is actually pretty good in it's own right, but all the Madden fanboys were expecting a Madden clone, so as soon they realized the gameplay was entirely different, they decided they hated the game without giving it an actual chance. I'm just waiting for Madden myself, but I wouldn't doubt 2k5 is a good game.

I'm just a complete sports and racing game fanatic. Sports and racing games make up 100% of my PS2 game collection, but that is after a few trade-ins and what not.
