Rivera for Thurs August 5

Wednesday night Rivera threw 51 pitches. In my league you can start 2 closers and my other closer Guardado is down and out, so i am thinking there's a good chance rivera will be rested and i can put both sherrill and putz in my closer spots and hopefully one will get the oppertunity. Does anyone have any definite info on whether or not Rivera will be rested for tomorrows day game?

You wouldn't know for sure until tomorrow however it would be most unlikely he would be used after throwing over 50 pitches today. Still I would rather have him on my roster doing nothing, than Sherrill

On the post game show, Joe said he would use Mo if he has to.

I imagine it would be highly unlikly that Mo would pitch today especially because it is a day game today.
