I was looking at it the other day and saw it was like March 28 or something, I don't think I was on but why were so many people on?

Possibly that date in time has some sort of cosmic significance....

I would presume it was the season was about to begin, there were a lot of drafts etc.

That's why I'm puzzled as to why there were so many on last night.
