Suppan?

Okay, can someone tell me what's up with Jeff Suppan? I saw he was doing well so I grabbed him and threw him in there against the Mets, who I have little doubt are the most overpaid, overhyped, underperforming team in the history of MLB (sorry Mets fans).

So he once again turns in a stellar performance. Earned me a win with 1 run scored in 6 innings, 0.83 WHIP. Just 1K against 1BB, however.

Now I'm wondering if I even want to think about holding onto this guy. I remember Suppan from his Boston days, and he certainly has a long enough track record to indicate that he isn't, and never will be, anything special. Anybody got any scoop on him?

I'm not booking a seat on this particular bandwagon just yet. uppan may very well improve his numbers in comparison to last season, but his final stats won't be all that special. He seems like a "trade high" candidate...
