Madden 2005

Postby Baseballer02 » Wed Aug 04, 2004 2:38 pm

5 more days until it's released and 8 more until it should reach all store shelves. I've already got my CE copy pre-ordered, who else is ready for it to come out? I heard they made defense easier, which will be great for me since I suck at it on 2004.

I'm going to pass on Madden this year, I'm thinking $20 for 2k5 is the route I'll go. Guess I'm just Maddened out.

I've played that one and it is pretty good and you can't beat the price

Passing seems easier in 2K5, but harder if you are used to Madden. In 2K5 it seems that if you throw to a receiver right on the break that the pass will miss by a mile. So you have to get used to waiting for him to GET open instead of anticipating. I have not played that much though, so maybe I just need to practive more.

Even though I hate the difference in price, I can already feel Madden's grip pulling me in...

I love EA........ can't see myself buying anything other than Madden, regardless of price. I got my XBox in February and been playing MVP 2004 ever since...... now it's time to switch it up and get Madden.... I'm not gonna disown them now just because a cheap alternative is $20 ;-)

I have every madden for the past 10 years. I am bailing on it, just trying it out. It was a good marketing ploy to make the game 20 bucks because I never would have looked it otherwise and it seems lots of other people wouldnt have either. If it goes back up to 50 next year though I will definetly be back on the Madden track. If I do not figure out how to pass soon though I may be back to madden way before that. I have blown 20 bucks on more stupid things then a video game.

I might get it.

Hey for all the ps2 owners, how many of y'all have network adapters?
