Man not only is this guy fun to watch but he is providing good stats for a rookie. Good power and hits in a respectable lineup. His strikeouts are a bit of a concern but those will pass as he gets more experience. This kid is going to be big. With Crosby, Green, Upton, and Drew (soon) hitting the bigs we have a new set of faces to replace the Nomar/Jeter/A-rod conversations in a couple of years. You can build a dynasty (i am) around him!

i agree. the guy has been stellar this year, after all the hype he's had to deal with (replacing tejada and all...). he's come up with a very good rookie season and doesn't seem to be a 1 year fluke (a la hinske). good batspeed. and while his patience at the plate isn't great now, he'll continue to develop a better knowledge of the K zone soon.
