true, i mean i am probably, probably never going to get in any trouble it is just kinda cool to have, i did some work for the guy who does the thingy to da X Box and he did it for me for about 100 bucks usually costs about 200
I also thought that it was difficult with XBox because of a chip in the games.
Xbox uses DVDs. They can't put chips in the games, unless I am misunderstanding what you mean.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

actually that happened. the guy who got falsly accused of stealing the half life 2 code got his xbox taken by the FBI so they could see if he had hidden it on there.

Ok lol, well as long as you don't go around stealing code for unreleased games, you'll be fine.
Yes it's illegal, but it's just one of those things where odds are that you won't get caught. It does void you warranty though (not that that is a really big deal either).
Anyway, my X-Box is currently out of commission due to a lightning bolt. I'll eventually get around to seeing if I can fix it.
Oh and before anyone can call me stupid for not having it on a surge protector, save your breath . It was on a surge protector but the bolt of lightning hit the cable dish which runs into the DVD surround system and the X-Box was plugged directly into the surround system. The bolt didn't go through the electrical, so it wasn't protected by the surge protector.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
Surge protectors suck. At least most of them. They don't do anything. A UPS has a battery backup so you can either keep working or safely shut down. I got 1 at a computer store for like $40.
Most of them on the above page are huge and for big stuff. They have the smaller stuff there or in stores.
