A couple weeks ago I was real happy about picking up Sabathia off the WW, but he's really pitched like crap this past month. Is the guy still injured or what? If he is, I don't understand why they wouldn't put him on the DL to give him time to recover. When you compare how he pitched at the beginning of the season to when he started having shoulder? problems, he can't be at 100%.

No, he's not hurt -- just struggling mightily. From SportingNews:
Manager Eric Wedge told the Akron Beacon Journal that Sabathia's shoulder is fine. Wedge says Sabathia simply needs to do a better job of handling his emotions on the mound. Sabathia has a 7.59 ERA over his past six starts, completely wiping out his strong start to the season. It makes sense to bench him until he turns things around.
