I'm going to steal a paragraph from a fellow Giants fan on a message board I participate on. Thanks GG
"Secondly, he said he cannot prepare to be the closer because he doesn't know how and when he will be used, or if at all. He said that being a starter allows him to prepare mentally for the one start per week and that is a reason his pitching is so much better now than it was when he was a closer."

I don't like the move. With Williams on the DL and moving Hermanson to the pen, that's just creating another hole in the rotation. Hermason has arguably been the Giants 2nd best starter this year.
We have a few offdays in the upcoming weeks, so we're apparently going with a 4 man rotation.

Who would you take (5x5 roto): Hideous Wickman, or Hermanson?

With Wagner on the DL, Welcom to my squad Mr. Hermanson.....
Now just don't slip on a wet mound during warm ups, strain your groin and miss the entire freakin season..............(Damn you Hermanson)

When I have a tough time deciding between pitchers I use two tie breakers.
1. Which Pitcher is on a better team? More likely to get wins or saves.
2. What league is the pitcher in? Favor NL over AL (except Colorado)

Why so bitter? You think Nomar's "injury" didn't have anything to do with him being shipped off. And you should be happy that your owner finally has some sense and will employ some sort of running game. I think Cabrera is great. Of course Nomar was the heart and soul of your team, but time will heal that void and you'll learn to love your new short-stop

Hermanson wins both the tie breakers. I'm interested in why you would favor NL closers over AL.
