back in the day omar used to put up nice numbers like .300 15 80 20. oh those were the days. believe it or not but biggio used to be a first round draft choice
Hype is fun and Upton is worth taking a flier on but I wouldn't bank on him outperforming Kaz or Reyes this year. Despite how much talent the kid might have, first stints in the bigs are historically bad no matter how much talent a player has. Claim him and hope for the best but don't expect anything from him. The same holds true for Wright, etc.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

True, true. My SS position has been so bad this year, though, that I hold out a lot of hope.
The thing about Kaz is that you have to factor in his ankle injury (i guess the same goes with Reyes injury). I have Kaz on my team, and I am going to give it two more games to see how Kaz performs with his ankel injury and how BJ hits major league pitching.
Combined the 4 threads about Upton being a DH and what his value is.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
