It doesn't matter who closes for the M's because they stink. Right now, they're trying to catch KC for the worst record in the AL, then they'll set their sites on the D-Backs for worst record in all of baseball. Shiggy, Sherrill, Madritsch, Myers--they all stink.
Roger Angell: I was talking with Bob Gibson and I said: 'Are you always this competitive?' He said: 'Oh, I think so. I got a three-year old daughter, and I've played about 500 games of tic-tac-toe with her and she hasn't beat me yet.'

They really really do! Just saw a three game set w/ the Angels, and even though they lost all three games by 1 run, they DO really stink. The Angel's didn't play THAT good and still swept. Sure Ichiro and sometimes Winn are getting on base, but its completely hollow singles, and Boone looks simply AWFUL. K-rod made him look like a little boy in the Friday night game. "This is the big leagues?"
Would rather rent Aquino for 2 weeks, or take a chance on S. Torres than search for the Seattle closer.....bad karma on that team right now.
