I just cut him about an hour ago for BJ Upton, I have waited Berroa out long enough, good second half last year or not, he is gone!

I held on to him until about a week ago. I still think he can contribute in the future, but this year seems like a lost cause.

he signed a 4 year, $11M contract extension in May so he is definently gonna stick around. I think he could be a good late round pick next year.
Berroa was definently overhyped heading into this year because he was never an outstanding hitter in the minors.

Well, he'll be making his money in Double A for the rest of the month, because Berroa was just demoted!

Yes I have him on my team as I have all year. I play straight AL with 12 teams so its like real baseball...there are no all stars just lying around.
You don't have to like 'em to own 'em!!!!

I don't know why, but you sound pissed when you say this. How can a guy help you if he is in the minors? Berroa is perfectly droppable, and very overhyped coming into the year. But that doensnt' mean he can't be a nice sleeper next year...

No I'm not pissed at all. I love playing straight leagues and would never consider playing a mixed league. I only meant I had kept him on roster all year because in straight leagues you don't have a lot of options.
