What do you guys think of this guy? I'm looking at him as a possible replacement for Pettitte. I've noticed he has impressive stats on the road. Is he a good option in a 10 team league?

All I know is I'm enjoying him in a 14-team league, as long as I sit him against the Spankees and strong offenses at Fenway. If you can live with those limitations, he'll help.

I picked up Arroyo a few weeks ago, and he is helping me out bery nicely, his K's are a big plus also, besides that start against the yanks, (which he should have only gave up 2 ER anyway cause of an error called a hit), he has been a pretty good option, and playing for boston, he usually has a chance to win the game.

I think he's a good addition to many teams right now. Mabye not in a 10 team league, depending who is on your ww. I added him in a 12 team league and think he'll continue this streak of his for a week or two (he's got back to back starts against TB).

I'm gambling that he will continue pitching well enough after that to get wins, some K's, and a decent ERA and WHIP. He should be a guy that will get wins, despite his bad luck (little to no run support) of late. The Sox just have too good of an offense to keep giving him bad run support. Also, his strikeouts have gone up this last month (31 k's in 28 IP), so if he continues that he'll be a valuable pick up in deep mixed leagues.

Arroyo's a pretty nice guy to have in slightly deeper leagues . fantasy wise in deeper leagues. whay ? cos he has gotcha healthy K rate.... he doesnt walk a ton of guys, so he has a relatively good whip and he plays on the Sox so he has opportunities to win. the full-deepleague-package :-b
Manny Ramirez....$20 million
Pedro Martinez....$17.5 million
Curt Schilling...$12 million (and a $2 million bonus)
Never hearing a Yankee fan chant 1918 again...priceless.
