A couple minor things. I'd cut Matt Anderson and try to pick up another young SP with some upside. I'd start playing Konerko at U soon, too. I'm assuming you usually start Prior. As far as trades, I'd look for a little more HR power in your OF. You'd probably have to trade from your IF though to get it. You do have pretty good power out of your IF to compensate though. I wouldn't be cutting anyone and looking for help from the Waiver Wire yet with that team (except Anderson).

I had prior on the bench that day, i do play him.
My strategy was to get power from the IF and speed from the OF, once the Chavez and Tejada start hitting i'll be okay, its my BA thats hurting thats mostly from Tejada and util. my konerko kendall duo sucks, im getting crazy hr contributions off my bench though.
I thoughs my SP was my strengh with RJ Prior Burnett and Moss, but RJ is single handedly killing my pitching staff. I know the day i dont start him he's gonna pitch a shutout with 20 k's.
I'll drop anderson(Should i drop alfonseca when he returns),
here are the SP's available:
Zambrano, Carlos Cruz, Nelson
Chacon, Shawn Valdes, Ismael
Ramirez, Horacio Affeldt, Jeremy
George, Chris Anderson, Brian
Sturtze, Tanyon Mays, Joe
Lopez, Albie Fogg, Josh
Ishii, Kazuhisa Johnson, Jason
Redman, Mark Lewis, Colby
Day, Zach Rincon, Juan
Estes, Shawn Pavano, Carl
Zambrano, Ishii, Estes, Mays are good, any sleepers i should know about? Your help is appreciated.
i would most definitely get some better power OF. pierre is good for speed, but you need more....you do need another 1st-or-2nd tier starter though, although burnett and prior are one 10-strikeout performance away from that. i like the rest though. strong infield, though i agree w/everyone, drop anderson and get zambrano.

1. Keep Anderson (more closers = more saves, more Ks)
2. Drop a catcher (you don't need two, most catchers hurt you more than they help you.)
3. Play Konerko
4. Sit back while Tejada , Chavez et al beat up on Detroit and Cleveland next week.
I dropped Anderson for Zambrano, I live in Chicago I know this guy is good, but on those hot July day games with the wind blowing out he's going to get rocked a lot. I'm going to keep both catchers until there value goes up a little, then i'll upgrade my OF.
thanks for the advice
