Well today he's batting 3rd cuz Ortiz is serving his suspension, but they said on the WEEI pregame that he's probably gonna bat 5th, so he should drive in alot more runs

Aug 1 After trading for Expos shortstop Orlando Cabrera and speedy Dodgers outfielder Dave Roberts, Red Sox general manager made it clear that the team needs to run more. "It was a flaw on this club," he told the team's official website. Views: Roberts has 33 steals on the year and Cabrera has 12. We'd love to see the Red Sox get more active on the base paths.
After all, why would they trade for 2 speedsters if not to let them do what they do best?
Also, you were right, he did bat .280 in July and not .265
Click "last month on yahoo". He batted .280 in July, but yahoo says .265 over the last month (however the hell they define that, since it also says he had no steals and he's had 2 in July.)
Still, .280 with 2 steals, no homers, and a .681 OPS isn't decent.

his value just went up a ton. still im not so confident that the red sox lneup woll remain one of baseballs best. besides ortiz and ramirez who in the sox lineup really scares the opposition? nixon is gone for a while, noarr was shipped out.
im guessing the lineup will look something like this (by position)
I would take O Cab over Kaz without hesitation. I am not a Matsui supporter. NZF said it right, he is too streaky and hasn't proven he can persistently deliver.
