See, there is a reason that the DBack's are the worst team in baseball. Their GM is a moron. Decide you want to trade someone, ask insane amounts from the top contender for that player... then scramble to see if another deal can be found once they laugh at you. Great.

That really kind of raises my opinion of RJ considerably. Based on what I had previously read, all the 'I'm ONLY going to the Yankees' stuff really sounded a bit far fetched and the fact that he acknowledged what is being said and called them all out as having been full of it is really a pretty classy move on his part. It pretty much invalidates most journalism on the topic at the last minute. I kind of doubt any GM would actually by that stuff and it just shows another example of the gruesome power of the 4th estate.

Very class move by RJ to take on the BS. ;-D

Well, like most people, he has to earn a paycheck to put food on the table every night so he does what he does...
