Just found some interesting stats.
Carlos Zambrano at day time
12 starts, 9-2, 1 CG, 1 SHO, 2.6 K/BB ratio, 1.58 ERA, 1.05 WHIP, .188 BAA
At night
8 starts, 1-4, no CG or SHO, 1.7 K/BB ratio, 4.80 ERA, 1.46 WHIP, .271 BAA
Wow. Thats a pretty big difference. He has also expressed that he likes playing day game much more than night games. I think that this is something that will probably come with age. Hes already a stud during the day, and I think hes bound to get better at night. Also, he got into trouble early yesterday but did not break down and struck out the side after having men on 1st and 3rd with no outs in the first inning. Bounced back to have an 8 inning no run performance. Good sign if you ask me. But start him every day game, and only play good matchups at night until he improves at that time.
