Jose Reyes is out of the Mets lineup .... I hope this "day to day" thingy does not last for "month to month"!

Jul 30 Mets second baseman Jose Reyes did not play on Thursday after spraining his right ankle on Wednesday, but he did not rule out a return on Friday. He did run on Thursday. "It felt good when I got here this morning, but it was a little stiff and sore after I ran," Reyes told the team's official web site. "We'll see what happens tomorrow. I'll go to the park early and get treatment and see how I feel. But now there is no swelling."

Views: The Mets will likely take the safe route with Reyes, but fantasy owners can expect him back over the weekend
